A Certified Automotive Tester receives an overview of the important test methods and norms which are used in software development in the automotive area. The syllabus contains of three modules.

• Principles of Testing
• Testing in Automotive Engineering
• Standards relevant for Automotive Engineering

This syllabus is an own education program complementary to the existing ISTQB Foundation and Advanced Level.

It is strongly recommended to also participate in an ISTQB Foundation Level training and certification.
