Professional Assurance Credits

For an extension of your PACIT certificate, which is due every 18 months, you will have to collect Professional Assurance Credits (PACs).

For the prolongation of a certificate, you will need a minimum of 100 PACs. It is possible to collect more than 100 PACs (there is no maximum limit for points to be collected). You can also carry over PACs to the next extension period. The maximum number of PACs that can be transferred to a future extension period total 25.

In order to apply for an extension, you will have to have collected at least 60 PACs in Activity 1 (practical work experience). You will furthermore have to collect PACs in at least two activity fields.

All of the documentation required for the extension process will have to be submitted to gasq at least 6 weeks prior to the extension.
